Interested in learning more about dabbing? Follow us @onpointsmoke and we can show you. Dabbing typically requires a few key elements:
- A dab rig: This is a specialized water pipe that is used specifically for dabbing. It typically has a glass or quartz banger (a type of nail) that is heated to a high temperature, and a nail that is used to vaporize the concentrates.
- A blowtorch: Dabbing requires a high temperature to vaporize concentrates, and a blowtorch is typically used to heat the nail to the appropriate temperature.
- Dab tool: A small metal tool with a flat or scooped end, used to pick up and place a small amount of concentrate on the heated nail. Concentrates: Dabbing requires a form of concentrated cannabis, such as wax, shatter, or rosin.
- A carb cap: A carb cap is a small device that is placed over the nail to help control the airflow and vaporize the concentrates.
These are the bare minimum tools you would need to just get started. Dab rigs and the whole set up will cost anywhere from $150-$500 investment.
You can choose between going with the glass and quartz banger route or get a full electronic vape set up.
